A well acted, well directed and crafted show that drops you right into the world of these characters and hooks you into to their daily life as it reaches a crucial apex. I truly enjoyed the world I was in as you effortlessly grow to care for all of the characters; flaws and all. A strong and resonant piece.... full review

I am so glad I came out to see "This Way Yonder". What a compelling script that is both real and raw - with subtle humor mixed in! The cast is really great and the leading lady - Marjorie - just SLAYS in that role. If I wasn't trying to see more Fringe - I would for sure see this again!... full review

Monica Martin is rightfully adored at Fringe where she helps so many others realize their theatrical dreams. It is a goddamned joy to see her flexing her own skill and vision with her utterly engaging, precise and compassionate direction of a remarkable cast. Marjorie Knight delivers one of the finest performances at this year's Fringe with able support from a strong ensemble of actors, especially Omar Salazar. It's so great to see a solid, narrative play with out the bells and whistles of so many Fringe experiments. Just solid acting, writing and direction in one of the best productions I've seen this Summer.... full review

What an amazing cast. Marjorie and Kelly had amazing chemistry up there as mother and daughter. This is a story I haven't seen before, you really feel the setting as the staging and sound and lighting design makes you feel as though you have entered a bayou! It's such a sweet and fun story, with some really great acting in the center. ... full review

The show was beautifully crafted. I keep going back to this piece throughout this fringe and thinking about the way the whole play shakes out. ... full review

Full disclosure: I am not a 'certified reviewer' because I was slated to see another show, but I arrived too late to get into to it, and rushed over to This Way Yonder. But I'm so glad that I did. I was parked in a one hour parking space (the show is over an hour) and I didn't care. I thought the play was well worth whatever I'd pay in parking fines.... full review

A touching and funny slice of life - a great cast with standouts Marjorie Knight as the caustic Ruth battling a war on several fronts at once, Justin Vlach who owns the stage as her brother, and Omar Salazar as hysterical and endearing Cody Tiger. Emotional performances well crafted by director Monica Martin. ... full review

An honest slice of life. Wonderfully written script by Montana, masterfully staged by Monica, and unabashedly performed by Marjorie, THIS WAY YONDER is one of my favorite pieces of theatre I've seen. Spearheaded by the glorious Marjorie Knight, the ensemble cast delivers honest performances throughout this sometimes cute, sometimes piercing play about a mother and daughter trying to make it all.work.... full review

This piece lives in specificity. I will admit, I am suffering from frustration over the inability of certain folks in this country to acclimate to the toxic future they refuse to inhabit alongside us. To exist in a faded time and place, to discuss things about which I have little familiarity or interest, but to do so with earnestness and a deep sadness for their lack of ability to connect feels very much of this time in which you and I live. It is very interesting that this piece meditates on this. It seems as though life has passed by, and accelerates as it does so. To feel love so freely available in the context it was built drift blithely into the happening-to of fruitless circumstances is a palpable emotion, one popular behind the mask ... full review
