A solid realistic story about hard working people in a part of the country that deals with devastating natural disasters, and how these people deal with their desperate situation. This Way Yonder is also a family drama that captures the conflicts of interests between older and younger generations.... full review

Beautiful and heartbreaking - despite some slight performance issues that can be tweaked (some projection issues, and one of the characters in my mind was played over the top), gifted playwright Montana Cypress paints with a vivid indelible brush. The characters are compelling, memorable and linger with you long after the show is over. One of the best of the Fringe for sure. I could see this playing Off-Broadway.... full review

This Way Yonder is a really beautiful story about complex family dynamics, independence, and growing pains set in a very specific time and place insomuch as this story could not have taken place anywhere else. The writing is reminiscent of a more humor-driven Tennessee Williams, and the cast's preparation really showed in monologue after monologue, hitting each nuanced note with care. Not to mention the chemistry between the cast was easy and believable, and the direction was seamless. Highly recommended. ... full review

An extremely heartfelt performance with a great mother-daughter relationship at it's center. Marjorie was an amazing actor and she led the whole cast wonderfully. The show was full many of emotional moments and the ending will shock you -- in the good way! ... full review

A complex and affecting tale with a skilled attention to detail in terms of time and place. The show really evokes a lot of authentic emotion, and the result is something purely theatrical. ... full review

A touching and funny slice of life - a great cast with standouts Marjorie Knight as the caustic Ruth battling a war on several fronts at once, Justin Vlach who owns the stage as her brother, and Omar Salazar as hysterical and endearing Cody Tiger. Emotional performances well crafted by director Monica Martin. ... full review
