UPDATE for The New(d) Year 2020: no January and February shows, re-boot in March. Check back in February to confirm.
DISROBED was nominated for Best Immersive Show at this year’s 2019 Fringe Festival! The show has moved to Studio C (6448 Santa Monica Blvd) as a monthly residency. Each performance includes a naked wine and cheese after party! Enjoy the play and experience simple, wholesome nudity in a communal setting. **Please note: If you are married or in a committed relationship but attend alone, we assume your partner has full knowledge of your attendance and is okay with it. Our show is about body acceptance, but is not meant to entertain those in toxic relationships. We encourage all couples to attend together. Thanks for understanding.
The producers of the HFF16 immersive hit, Love the Body Positive, are back with the comedy, “Disrobed: Why So Clothes-minded?” The play has been adapted and updated by Steven Vlasak (HFF17’s Nights at The Algonquin Round Table) from the British naturist classic, “Barely Proper” by Tom Cushing. It’s Meet The Parents with a twist! Skye is about to introduce her conservative boyfriend to her family. But she’s never told him that she and her family are all nudists! Will their relationship survive? Once again, this immersive theatre experience requires the audience to be in their birthday suits. You are also welcome to wear a face mask, if you prefer a little anonymity. Don’t forget to bring a clothes bag, be freshly showered and have a towel to place on the seat! All photography is prohibited and all cellphones must be turned off and stored in the clothes bag upon entering the venue.
