Fantastic one-woman show! I felt so drawn into this world, the story, the idea of this woman's story and her place in this society. I loved the connection to our current world and how it was obviously connected but not a blatant connection. ... full review

This is not just another Trump-bashing tirade. This is the type of modern day American mythology that lifts our collective pain and confusion about the current state of affairs and raises it to healing hilarity while also forcing us all to confront our own implications in the rise of a dictator.... full review

Kristina Mueller pulls off the impossible, making the mother of the orange-faced world leader a sympathetic and engaging. She creates a broken matriarch who agonizes over her decisions long after she's made them. Kristina is engaging, powerful and embraces her demented creation with loving arms. Tinks Lovelace stages the play in such a way as to maximize the separation from the character and the audience, isolating her in her crazed musings. I can't wait for the next thing they collaborate on. ... full review

This show is a one-woman piece of art. Tinks Lovelace's direction uses tasteful simplicity to swallow the entire theater in Mary Anne's world- and if you are familiar with the Broadwater Black Box you know that is no simple feat! Kristina Mueller's performance keeps us riveted to the journey, from her fabulous character transformations to Mrs. Trump's memorizing habit of interrupting her current thought with the next one. With so few elements of spectacle, Kristina Mueller keeps our undivided attention with sheer talent. Troy Deutsch's script is eerie, odd and the question it begs is one of the most insightful twists I've yet to witness at this year's festival. ... full review

Orangutan is disturbing and thought provoking. Parts of the narrative are shocking but never in the way you expect. This piece subverts your expectations before serving them to you on fine china.... full review

One-person shows are a staple of the Fringe Festival, and this one definitely stands out. Kristina Mueller is gripping as Mama Mary, all-at-once hilarious, heart-wrenching, and powerful. And hats off to Troy Deutsch for creating a Trump piece that isn't anchored by hacky pandering (not an easy feat these days). Orangutan has something to say, and says it in a clever and unexpected way. ... full review
