Come prepared to be astounded by his feats of incredible recall, his didactic memory and ability to recall his vast storage of Baseball knowledge archived in his mind is simply astounding. ... full review

What a joyful theatrical experience! I’m always down when I see baseball and theater combined. Sadly no one does Damn Yankees anymore, but Brett Moore sure filled the void of baseball onstage! So much passion and love for the game. It didn’t seem like anybody felt like an outsider, even if you weren’t as knowledgeable about baseball. Although I doubt anyone is as knowledgeable as Brett. Definitely gotta CATCH this one!... full review

I care 0% about baseball. But I loved this show.... full review

There’s nothing “stupid” about what Brett professes to be his “stupid human trick.” It’s insanely impressive to watch his mind work and his enthusiasm for baseball was infectious. ... full review

I grew up in a “baseball family”. I played softball and my brothers all played baseball. So I already went in expecting to like this show, I just didn’t know how MUCH I would end up liking it. Felt like I could watch another hour of Brett doing his thing. ... full review

Brilliant concept. The Dodgers should pay him to sit at a booth during games, and let fans play these games with him. Free baseball cards at the end were the icing on the cake.... full review

I can't remember a show at Fringe I've had more fun attending. Full disclaimer, I'm a huuuuuge baseball fan so this show had me smiling at parts, audibly cheering, and yes, tearing up. But the beauty of this show is that you don't have to be a baseball fan to enjoy it (though by the end of it, Brett Moore just might make you one!). "Batter Up" is more about mesmerizing storytelling from the guy next door, the wonder of nostalgia, mixed with some of the most impressive parlor tricks you'll ever see. Seriously, Brett Moore is a statistical magician! The "games" he plays with the audience are simply something you have to see to believe. But what I truly loved most of all was watching Brett's passion for the game on full display for his audience... full review

I thought the show was really good. Guy showed a lot of energy while keeping the crowd involved. Impressive memory for what would be similar to a sports almanac. I mean, Biff Tannen would trust this guy over his future self. ... full review

Half quiz show, half mentalist act, this ode to baseball fits the Fringe like a well-worn glove. Brett commands a supernatural knowledge of the sport. His abject delight in relating esoteric facts may stir even the most baseball-apathetic to appreciate America's pastime. I would call this piece a grand slam, so don't strike out or walk from this run.... full review

It’s not about baseball! Well, OK. It IS. BUT it’s just as much about ANY obsession. And we ALL have one, at least. Brett’s particular passion for baseball – and his rather extraordinarily retentive brain – is the jumping off point. But, ultimately, it’s about having something to love and take joy in, even if it’s an overwhelming crazy kind of love.... full review
