Heather Kozlakowski synthesizes the woman she is and the man she IS NOT in a very well thought out and well executed way.
Her performance is colored with her stand up, countless specifics, brevity, clarity, and an achingly amazing impression of her father. A man who'd I'd assume most of the audience had never met, but whose presence could still be felt in the room, and because of this, his ever looming presence in her life was able to be felt by everyone in the room as well.
A truly wonderful and heartfelt piece, that I'd highly recommend to anybody and everybody!

I loved this show a lot. It seems like Heather's aim isn't to indict or to cast blame, but rather to dive into the heartbreaking chasms of understanding that can't ever be bridged--even between a father and a daughter. It takes a brave person to embody her parent, but, as Heather does so with such eerie precision, she reveals that our parents live within us whether we like it or not....

Truly captivating performance. Heather brings us through the heartbreak of knowing our parents can never be who we want them to be. Yet she embraces her reality, and showcases it in such a way that I was left with hope, and yearning for more. I sat there completely mesmerized, my hands holding my face, tears streaming constantly. I was moved....
