What I liked
Heather creates fantastic characters that can easily interact with each other that you almost forget it’s just one person doing them. I also love that her story was not autobiographical, leaving the audience free to react to the scenes how they want and not having to worry about taking care of the performer. It was closer to a one person play than a solo performance piece.
What I didn't like
I wouldn’t change a thing.
My overall impression
There is a good reason this is one of the toughest tickets at Fringe to get. That reason is Heather Dowling. The definition of each character is so specific and wonderful. She sets down the gold standard of what a solo performance should be.
