What I liked

The staging is so full and madcap – they make such great use of that space. Every inch is accounted for, and you never feel like anything is being skimped. The pacing is tight and the forward momentum never relents – always movement, always something happening. Allie Leonard (as “Tess”) and Tim Kopacz (as “Lincoln”) are real standouts, with a lived-in quality to their characters that puts you immediately at ease. The rest of the ensemble is equally remarkable. But it’s the writing and the directing here that really takes center stage. It’s a political show with a message but doesn’t let the message outweigh the fun.

What I didn't like

Would have liked seeing some of the side characters given a tad more development, but it’s a small quibble. I had such a blast with this terrific show.

My overall impression

After reading some less than hospitable reviews about this piece, I tried to go in with an open mind. Thank goodness I did. What a riot this show was. Relevant, hysterical, well-written and directed. This was a Fringe standout. Any reviewer who objectively disliked this piece must have been watching a different show.
