Set on a small, unassuming ranch in Nevada, Treason is an intensely provocative, one hour drama that takes a look into the growing threat of a radical nationalist viewpoint more commonly known as sovereign-citizenship, a form of extreme domestic terrorism that is on the rise today primarily in response to today's current geopolitical climate. This entire play is primarily centered around one family The Wilsons. Grant Wilson(Dave Crossland) the patriarch and self-appointed military dictator of The Republic of Kaliipoly a bogus nation which was founded entirely by himself, and which whom he believes he and his family claim citizenship and sole allegiance to. When he feels his land and liberty are compromised by his friendly, but firm neigh... full review

Very thought provoking, intensely uncomfortable, inventive concept. I could see this show being developed into a film as well. I also loved the set design!... full review

Beautifully structured pot boiler political satire family drama. You know: one of those. The playwright Eric DePriester asks a lot of his actors and they all deliver. It's tense, funny, and bitter. All things I love.... full review

Bigly (or big-league) intelligent premise, fantastic acting, and topical relevance gives the "treason" we may see in our own lives a familial plausibility.... full review

It is a strange feeling when a fictional dark comedy story feels- so real. Treason made you think. The moments of comedy made you laugh but also made you pause and go "Oh." At times, I try to not watch too many political plays because, especially in the time we are in right now, they all start to sound the same. Treason strayed far from the path in the best way possible. This has been one of the best political plays I have seen. The angle they took to highlight our world today and the absurdity of some of it while creating an enjoyable experience that will make you laugh but also makes you think about what we are going through- opening a dialogue about what we can do to improve. ... full review

A really beautifully staged and directed play. The acting was so strong and really blew me away. Such a stark and interesting concept and a unique take on today's society! At times dark and scary, but mostly just impactful and thought-provoking, Treason is a play to see this fringe! ... full review

An unnerving but also funny show that looks into the sad but eerily close to life of one off-kilter Nevada family. It is an unflinching show in many wells but it's boldness never feels like too much and the characters are so well drawn in this wild but thought-provoking piece.... full review

It’s a great show. Lots of tense, dramatic scenes with the occasional moment of levity. Very timely premise!... full review
