The script smartly straddled the line between comedy and psychological horror. The strong performances kept it ambiguous until the end as to whether Grant was “just playing”, which gave every laugh line a lingering bitter aftertaste and kept me hooked in. All the actors played their roles to perfection—from Dad’s walking ego to Mom’s willfully ignorant hope, to Teenage daughter’s gritted teeth to Teenage son’s creepy smile, the balance of family tension was perfectly taut. The absurd situation made it all the scarier.
What I didn't like
No idea!
My overall impression
A deeply disturbing show, very well crafted and performed.
