Tanya commands the stage immediately! Her large stage presence is felt, even via livestream. She found a way to tell a relatable story about the far-reaching effects of colonialism in a way that was vulnerable yet also funny. Brava!... full review

Tanya moves about the stage grounded and with grace. I thoroughly enjoyed learning about her background and the culture of Singapore. Great use of props and the stage space. Her show felt like it had a natural flow, easy to follow and a joy to watch. ... full review

It’s hard to believe as you view Tanya physicalize thirty-five characters onstage – free, beautiful, and vulnerable with the lights shining on her – that she was ever uncomfortable in her own skin. Tanya takes us on a global journey into Singapore’s culture as we find a woman battling for her identity, self-acceptance, and self-love… while discovering that colonialism has terrorized, infested, and affected beauty standards around the world.... full review

Her performance was brilliant, engaging, and captivating. ... full review

This show should be seen by young girls and women. There’s so much I personally identified with. I can go on and on about the kind of shit I deal with in my own community. Tanya does a great job of describing her own struggles. I’ve known women who put on fair and lovely and I only wish I could show them this play!! ... full review

Outstanding show ! Tanya is brilliant as all of her sharply-drawn characters, getting cleanly from character to character with sharp physicalizations. The unobtrusive videos add to the atmosphere, especially the suddenly intrusive character in her head, Dysmorphina. Highly recommended !... full review
