Absolutely loved this show. Called my mom immediately after in tears, truly sobbing. I've never resonated with anything more than this show, thank you April for sharing your story you had strangers in the audience coming together laughing, crying and even sharing tissues....

Truth
April Wade Wish is a genius! The writing alone is extraordinary, let alone the acting! The pace of the show makes 70 minutes fly by. April takes you on a roller coaster journey, changing characters in the blink of an eye but with so much clarity. We are laughing one moment and crying the next. Did I say crying? Downright sobbing and I wasn't the only one! Totally thought provoking on every level, this show is a must see, not just for women, not just for mothers and not just for daughters. This show is relevant for everyone: men, women, young or old. We all wear different hats throughout our lives and in the process, we sometimes lose ourselves and forget who we ARE, who we thought we wanted to be. April has FOUND herself again and I applaud ...

Clementine is billed as a show about finding and losing yourself in motherhood, but it is also a tender and beautiful love letter to April Wish's mother, her grandmother, and her daughter. Incredibly funny, and also wonderfully touching, Wish shines as she seamlessly and organically takes us back and forth through time as she explores motherhood from her current lens, but also what she thought it was when she was a child, and how she never, ever saw herself having babies.
Jessica Lynn Johnson's direction was perfect in taking us on a rollercoaster of emotional levels, and Wish's writing is superb.
My cheeks hurt from smiling, I cackled at so many hilarious jokes, and my throat was sore from crying.
This beautiful and tender show ...

What an incredible performance! As a mother, I felt every emotion and was a part of every story. I laughed and cried (seriously - bring tissues), and really connected with the actor, her truth and beautiful experiences as a mother, and her realization of the deepest love possible. I would recommend this show to everyone, and can honestly see it traveling the country and touching the lives of all those who have the privilege of being part of the audience. Bravo, April Wish!...

April Wish has an amazing way of looking at life, and she conveys that sweetness in her show. Putting a burgeoning career on hold to create a family may sound like a bad idea, but Wish showed us that it can be very rewarding. Being a parent of three and a grandparent of 13, I could totally relate to what it takes to parent, especially those times where your partner is nowhere to be found. It can be a stressing time, but she showed us the rewards of putting our children first. ...

In this honest and powerful look at what it looks like for a woman to BECOME "Mommy," April brings poetic writing, filled with love, and play, and loss to life in an incredibly vivid way. Kudos!...

Clementine was more than just about a motherhood and a 5 year-old. It was about the strength that women possess, the bonding of women over 3 generations, and the realities of compromising or even giving up on your dreams for someone else. April Wade's portrayals of each character in the show had a sense of honesty and vulnerability that kept me intrigued throughout that must be seen on a live staged production. ...

I keep delaying writing this review because I wanted to really sit down and think about what I was going to say before writing it. Well, I've thought about it now.
April is one of those actors that I'm guessing gets underestimated. I can tell because I've seen it. It appears to me that stories on motherhood aren't as interesting as other stories. Which doesn't make sense to me, seeing as motherhood is literally what made all of us who we are today. There was a person out there that played some sort of mother-role for us whether or not she was over-bearing, absent, non-existent, or nurturing. I saw this show to pay my respects to a role that I am not and probably will never be in. And I found out it's much more interesting, messy, dynamic, ...
