Fantastic. It's always heartening to see a drama at the Fringe which really nails it - and boy, this nails it. Great writing, great direction, and the performances of Blaire Chandler and Alli Miller are outstanding. They each have such ease on stage, inhabiting the characters like a second skin, and playing off one another (and the great Krista Conti) beautifully with zipping dialogue. With an important and powerful theme, and THE DUCHESS AND THE STRIPPER is one of the best shows at the Fringe this year....

The show is brilliantly written by David Bosley and directed by Fringe veteran and mentor (as well as a truly talented actor in his own right) Ezra Buzzington. The cast was likewise perfectly set with AEA actress Blaire Chandler in the role of Wallis Simpson, Cherry Poppins queen Alli Miller as Blaze Starr and Krista Conti as Starr’s sister and assistant June Fleming. ...
