The show was smart, funny and earnest. I thought it brought a fresh perspective on modern dating that didn't feel overly fatalistic. Overall I had a great time, and I'm not usually a huge musical person....

This show blew me away! Wow, Alena can sing! AND she can play instruments AND she can write! Triple threat here! I came out of the show not only feeling impressed by Alena’s many talents, but also that I was thoroughly entertained. The story was funny and had a lot of heart. Looking for love in the internet age is something we can all relate to, and Alena Bernardi as Polly hits the high notes and the low notes of this journey, both vocally and thematically. Her classically trained voice sounds Broadway bound, and her boundless enthusiasm is inspirational....

OMA (A for Alena)!!!! What a sensational musical triumph all wrapped up in one woman! She can sing! She can move! She can sure contort her face into the most adorable diva facial expressions you have ever seen. She can also play instruments! The Pied Piper has nothing on her. Follow her career trajectory, she is headed for the stars....

Charming, witty, musically and technically brilliant, these are just a few words I would use to describe the production Swiped APPly ever after.
Miss Bernardi's portrayal of Polly's comedic plight through the emotional roller coaster that is online dating, gives this male theater goer, a powerful look at the female perspective.
Come laugh, cry, maybe get a little creeped out, as we all
cheer for Polly and her search for her true love!...

For those brave enough to venture into the world of online dating, you now have a voice; and a sultry one at that. Alena Bernardi takes on the role of "Polly", a young woman searching for romance, with a passion that cannot be denied. Quite the contrary, the audience will be drawn in as Polly takes them along for a ride that is both easily relatable and socially relevant like no other show you've seen before. Through the use of mobile technology, Polly has control over virtually every aspect of her life. Every aspect, that is, except one: dating. As Polly seeks out an answer to solve the puzzle placed upon her by societal constructs, we come to realize that learning to love ourselves, as we are, must come before looking for validation throug...
