Amazing writing! Awesome production overall! Dealing with the aftermath of wounded veterans and the wounds they inflict on their loved ones and in turn the wounds their loved ones inflict on them. A tough subject matter that is dealt with masterfully in this play. It doesn’t pull any punches but manages not to beat the audience over the head. A delicate balance done with deft hands!... full review

Wounded was riveting. I found myself engulfed in the story from the onset, and the audience around me was rapt. ... full review

A top-of-the-line production team and cast invites you into the rawest moments of three peoples' lives in the wake of life-changing events. The care and craft poured into this production by every hand that touched it is palpable. Even if you paid full price for a ticket, you're getting a discount for what this is worth. An unflinching look at how the ripples of war echo through peacetime.... full review

This play is powerful and beautifully written. What an unflinching examination of our animal nature as expressed through the lens of three people coping with unendurable trauma and pain. It beautifully exposes the fragility and raw vulnerability of men and women coping with the stress of war and it's aftermath. Truly powerful and devastating. ... full review

This show is extremely well written and the playwright's words are performed with intense honesty by the excellent cast. 'Wounded' is reminiscent of Sam Shepard's work on how the 'wounded' of our society struggle within themselves and with each other to create a day to day existence.... full review

What a heart-wrenching show! I could not stop crying and I was just blown away by the writing and the acting in this show. The topics that were delved into the show was spectacular. Trauma, pain, guilt, mental health and so much more. Just a beautiful show that examines the human condition through these three characters. ... full review

I appreciated this show. My dad had a traumatic brain injury 8 years ago and my mom is his primary caregiver. I was 20 and moved home during college and haven't left. Caregiving is consuming and taxing, both emotionally and physically. The play got a lot of things right -- having to disassociate the person who exists "now" from the person who existed (and who you loved) "before"; how hard it is to plan beyond the day-to-day; how isolating and lonely it can be. I was glad I saw it and am grateful the playwright, director and actors all approached this heavy topic with dignity and care.... full review

"Wounded" is not an anti-war play. It is a quiet, respectful examination of three intersecting lives. Not just these three, but everyone in their world has suffered the costs of war. Kaz makes it quietly clear -- war knows no boundaries, and no one escapes unharmed.... full review

Highly Recommended. Kerry Kazmierowicztrimm’s Wounded is hard to watch. And that’s some of the highest praise I can give theater.... full review
