I really enjoyed this unconventional take in such well explored material. It made me think of the story of Hamlet in a different way. Very engaging and well acted. Go see it!...

This was a fun and interesting "update" to the traditional Hamlet play. While still including your classic characters and plot, this play explored the layers of the characters of Hamlet, Laertes and Ophelia with a modern lens. It was very interesting and entertaining! ...

I didn't know what to expect going into this piece but I came away in awe of the story and the acting. What a cleaver take on three well known Shakespearean characters with a modern day / mildly psychotic flare. Bravo!...

Fresh. Funny. Heart-breaking. Engaging. A real think piece. I love what these guys do as playwrights and actors. The work is intelligent, but not snobby. The piece is wonderfully portable- not in a bad way -and I hate to call the show "fringy" but something really well done here is creating a show that falls under an hour (without feeling incomplete), can be unpacked with props and set pieces in under 15 minutes, but still look professional....
I remember in the same team's piece last year there was a device used in the script that took me a while and when I understand it it was like "OHHHH I get it, cool"- this show had a similar device and I never fully got it- although I mostly got it and I liked it... (But I wish I could have fully g...

Typically, when I think of "Shakespeare adaptations", I cringe. Productions either do too much or too little and never find that sweet spot, the middle ground. "Laertes Loves Hamlet Loves Ophelia" isn't so much an adaptation as a re-imagining of the play's three young protagonists, placing them in an apartment together as they sort out the drama surrounding the recent death of Hamlet's father and his accusations of murder most foul. ...

A refreshingly original take on Shakespeare that fully explores the relationships in Hamlet and is its own riveting and raucous piece of theatre. Clever, witty and heartbreaking. Katelyn Schiller is my favorite Hamlet. Strong cast, well matched. Discovering truly unique works like this are what the joy of fringe is all about....

A superb cast brings a fascinating play to life. A clever rethink of the relationships of characters from Hamlet, this thing plays like a twisted love letter to Shakespeare and an alternate universe to some deeply dysfunctional, but loving, friends.
Trippy and fun, this is electrifying, emotional theater....
