From the little girl who wanted to be a rock star to the powerful woman whose voice proves it, "Life, Death & Duran Duran" is a rocky, rocking road trip told through a guitar. The world truly opens up when this woman starts to sing. You won't want her to stop. ...

There is a reason Sam Shaber has earned both national and international accolades over her career: she's a force! This hauntingly beautiful, poignant and (sometimes) sweetly silly look at both her childhood obsession with Duran and Duran and key moments of loss and love in her life is so sincere and heartfelt, we are right there with her, in the good times and the bad. An absolutely amazing musician with an angelic voice (and just enough of an indie rock edge!), Sam's show plays like a deeply personal live version of "Behind the Music." Touching, moving, truthful storytelling from a true pro. Just a great show!...

A very sweet tale of love and loss and life. Sam tells a story that not many have lived, but definitely fear, in a way that comforts and finds appreciation for the time we have here....
