Ernest absolutely becomes the historical Bob Ingersoll. A fascinating character from long ago, but amazingly, startlingly relevant for our own times.
What I didn't like
It was a bit too warm in the theatre. The performance, though, was everything you could hope for.
My overall impression
Ernest is one of the best writers and actors ever to appear at Fringe. This is the fourth of his plays which I’ve seen and as always it is a combination of intelligence and strong feelings. Intellectual and intuitive. Comic at times. Always interesting.
