Star has this ability to bring you into her entire world with a vulnerability that is not so easy for one to allow the self to reveal. Her eyes tell a lifetime of stories and you can see her truly see her behind them during the show. I was captivated by her honesty, her naturalness onstage. I can’t wait to see Star in more plays as she is the kind of actress we need in the theatre!...

It felt like I was floating in an ocean and the boat was the performer. So engaging and entertaining and funny, but with an incredible message behind it. ...

An intimate yet funny and heartbreaking performance by Star. Star does an amazing job of showing how little moments in a young woman's life will affect her overall. She explores topics that may be uncomfortable for some people to watch but she does it with such bravery, ease, and confidence that you can't help but root, cheer, and connect with her. ...

As topical as it is personal, Star Stone’s "#Metoo" is more than just a hashtag and a movement. It’s also a journey.

The first thing you notice when you watch this show is that Star Stone is a fearless performer who connects with her audience and commands the stage. Simply put, she is a PRESENCE. Her story is a truly unique journey through an issue that is shaping the future of our society and what she has to share is important to hear. And she is so honest through all of it, the good and the bad, that you can't help but be right there with her. A common problem with solo shows is that the range of characters all tend to sound the same. Not so in Star's case. Whether its herself at different ages, different people from her life, or different aspects of her personality and subconscious brought to life, each "character" has a distinct voice that makes this l...

#metoo is a very powerful piece. Star's command of the different characters, how she morphed in and out of the characters, was terrific. It is, in my mind, the biggest challenge of solo shows with multiple characters and she handled it beautifully. The collaboration between Star and her director was impressive. The director has a really good eye and made very good use of the space.
My absolute favorite part was the dance at the end. It was totally unexpected (I didn’t notice the program listing of the choreographer until after!) and just beautiful.
