A silly high school romp that for once doesn't end the way you expected it to. Amidst the numerous pop culture references, "Ashton Kutcher" gets his own song, and the writer/composer Conner Hanney has a ball breaking apart high school teen stereotypes. It becomes quickly clear, however that show was made with love. It has heart which doesn't bog down the committed comedic tone the group is striving for. The real heart isn't even the most evident in the show's overall message but in how the performers were so clearly having a blast with each other and by the end of Best Buddies, I found both performers and their characters perfectly endearing. Kudos to the whole team!... full review

LEGIT! Conor Hanney has basically created a genre with his topical hip-hop musicals. We get some great info on that (without feeling like we're being "taught") through the mean-girl character who calls the club "D... full review

Such a heart-warming and fun show to watch. All of the performers were so talented and the songs were really fun! I really love this concept for a musical, and I hope they continue the show past Fringe because I think it's a great show that should be shared with an even larger audience.... full review
