My sister and I really enjoyed the show; the talented individuals who worked hard to put it together did a magnificent job at capturing and maintaining the audience's attention throughout the entire show. Not only was the show entertaining and humorous, but it was also educational touching on the issues of racism/ racial profiling, portraying the traumatization of domestic violence, and depicting the life of a drug (methamphetamine) addict. Alex Alpharaoh's poetry tied everything exceptionally well! AWESOME JOB and keep up the good work UTM! :) ...

So far this is my favorite show at Fringe this year. It is an incredibly well put together evening of Theatre that's going to challenge you and make you think. It is engaging from beginning to end. This is a seriously talented ensemble of actors. Go see this. Really--put it on your schedule now....

ELECTRIC. RAW. CHALLENGING. ENTERTAINING. Overall, everything a night in the theatre should be. With powerful and unhinged performances and meaty scripts, UTM's "Urban Unrest" is the kind of show worth going to the fringe festival because it raises the bar and exceeds the audience's exception. One of my top of Fringe this year....

Magnificent! Feels like an Off Broadway play. Urban Unrest is a triple threat home run. The Writing, Directing and Acting knocks these real life stories out of the park. A small cast and not one weak link amongst them, equally solid and powerful
Each one act, there were four, left me wanting to see more.
The one-acts were intelligently paced, with each storyline heightened until the final piece "Replica" crescendoed into an explosion of dark content, high stakes, and shocking realism.
If this show gets an extension, I'll see it again and bring friends. As a matter of fact, I'm a new fan and will look for more from this company....

I felt really uncomfortable to see the female underage actress give the character for the next scene 2 bags of heroin. Also as a parent, I would be upset and livid if my daughter was part of a production where another female is giving an audibly graphic and visible blow job to a guy on stage. There were other parts in the show that I felt were unncessarily misogynistic and it took away from the appeal of the show for me. I liked the production value UTM brought to the stage and the flow between each act was seamless. The actors were amazing and brought a true commitment to their characters. The second story Oscuridad, was my favorite, the female actress that played the mom was the best!...
