My overall impression
A shining example of one-person-show-done-right, Cynthia’s performance was relatable, intimate, and full of charming humor. Beautifully structured and smartly directed, she invites the audience to participate in the journey of three women, each uniquely of their time and place. The production only faltered, in my humble opinion, when the same devices were repeated – thematically, the slow-motion seduction for each character brought a union to the piece, but after seeing how capable Cynthia is as an actor, I desired more diversity in tactics. Still, I laughed, I giggled, I blushed, and I was blown away by how interesting and fun a simple concept could be in such capable hands! Bravo!
