Fast and furiously funny! Eight talented actors play all the roles in 26 micro-mini plays, all ending with a character asking "What the F*CK?!" or the audience yelling out, "You are so F*CKED!" Clever scenarios, well-played from Fierce Backbone. A unique theater experience!...

While I am a bit biased as a member of Fierce Backbone I was so proud of what we have put together. It was outrageous, ridonkulous and down right funny. Lines like "but he's dead" and "we can always play ring toss" will have a whole new meaning after you see this play (I mean 26 plays in 1 hour). This is destined to be a Fringe Annual Show. ...

There's no denying Fierce Backbone are irrepressible! A highly democratic evening in which 26 writers are all given 2 minutes of stage time, with a team of energetic and versatile actors to embody more roles than I could count. This is a mix of sketch-show and short-play collective - all in the comic vein, as at the end of each piece the audience is prompted to shout 'You're so f*cked!' This is the kind of deliberately 'rough' theatre that Fringe Festivals enable at the end of an intense day of viewing of Bards, Bawds and Balladeers. As with any democracy, some scripts are more crafted than others (well, the challenge of 2 minutes is no small feat). Go with a generous heart and a desire to support a team of prolific writers....

(disclaimer: I am a proud Boner:-)
Fierce Backbone tries something new this year with their take on the '3-minute plays' in an hour structure, and with great success.
Keeping all eight (and wonderful) actors on stage throughout to tag-team scenes, this show is a fast and furious, all fun and silliness, look at "WTF" moments in life. And the audience gets in on the fun too as we yell "WHAT THE FUCK?!" to end each scene.
Bring your friends, bring your grandparents, bring your booze!! Remember: laughter is the best medicine after sitting through a slog of horrible Fringe shows...:-D...

26 plays in an hour? Seriously?
Yeah. Except for the serious part because this is a rowdy and explosive evening. Titled 'What the F*ck?" because really that about sums it up.
The actors are game and committed (or should be committed) as they shift on the proverbial dime. Audience participation isn't a request it's a demand and all the better.
Often theater lacks the vibrant interaction it has to offer. Here it's face out, in your face, get in our face and it's a blast. The time flew and I laughed often and out loud.
Kudos to the director for wrangling these fun, varied pieces to some bizarre sense of (dis)order.

I know there is a lot to see at this year's Fringe...but when you're tired and looking for just laughs...don't miss Fierce Backbone's "What the F*ck!" a wonderful fun-filled 50 minutes of absurdity by a stellar cast of comic actors...and if you want to become a part of craziness, just sit on the front row or aisles and watch out... ...

Los Angeles certainly has some amazing actors and writers - the actors from Fierce Backbone get up there with huge amounts of energy and imbue these 20 plus super-short plays, some of which are hilarious, with superb wit and great comic timing. This is definitely not a show for youngsters, as the language in the title would suggest. But it is not a mindlessly stupid show - so don't let the title turn you off. The show moves along at a terrific pace, and is highly enjoyable. ...

Theatre absurd in the best way. 26 plays in 60 minutes by 21 writers. Only one more performance left on Saturday June 27 @ 3:30 pm and it is a must see. One of the most outrageous and creative hours on the Fringe schedule. Have some wine, it'll be after 12 noon, get your pair of plastic "clap hands" as you check in and have fun. This is one that you don't want to miss because you'll have to wait till next year to see what Fierce Backbone does for the WTF: What The F*ck 2016....
