Booze, Balls and Bluegrass: A Daughter's Journey

solo performance · written and performed by laura carson · Ages 15+ · United States of America

one person show world premiere

In 2009, Laura moved back to Atlanta, GA to care for her ailing 77-year-old father. She suddenly found herself balls-deep in a caregiving scenario trying to manage a demanding dad slipping into dementia while she drank in the dark talking to her cat. It’s a funny, moving story about loving the people who break your heart, letting go and growing up. And you’ll hear some great Bluegrass music to boot!
