This is one of the funniest shows I have seen on any stage of any size. Brilliantly crafted. Brilliantly executed. Definitely a must see of the Fringe Festival.... full review

Why??? Broadway. Beautiful character work and design with the Aliens. Great use of musical theatre characters, and every one gets a chance to shine. There's no reason a show like this CAN'T be on Broadway, so I think the whole point of the show was awesome. It was a perfect way to start my Fringe.... full review

Super fun, and while it is helpful to have seen the musicals referenced and Alien (which I've actually never seen), the show is still very enjoyable and fun to watch. Kudos to the cast/crew and the writing and design team. Loved it!... full review

A very clever mix of musical theatre and science fiction. I loved how each character in the ensemble was very specific and represented several different broadway musicals of both the past and the present. Everybody in the ensemble seemed to gel together very well and there wasn't a single weak link in the cast. Everybody had terrific chemistry and the musical numbers were fun and there's a reference every five minutes that will keep you laughing and entertained at the same time. Highly recommend this. ... full review

The laughter starts the moment the first character steps on stage at "Alien vs. Musical," a clever mash-up of Broadway shows and Hollywood sci-fi now playing at the L.A. Fringe. That character (I won't tell you who) is just the first example of spot-on costume and visual design talent. The show's amazing puppet creatures were designed by Steve Troop, the show's clever use of lighting (hand-held flashlights, mostly) and special effects are thanks to director Matthew Tyler and his team. Mr. Tyler creatively wrangles the large (10-person) cast; the small Elephant Space stage just barely contains the bursting energy of the ensemble. That ensemble is a collection of fresh L.A. musical theatre talent who give us their all. They take on mu... full review

Alien VS Musical is a shoe in for Best Musical at this year's FRINGE. This show boasts a Memorable and creative book and lyrics and phenomenal creature creation; Przytulski and Troop have really created something special! I'm assuming (by basic logic) that this show will be extended, and I advise anyone reading to grab your tickets as soon as they become available! As a level 1 Broadway Musical enthusiast- I can tell you the theatrical references and style imitations are spot-on. As only a minor aliens fan- I recognized things, but based on some of the laughs, it also really catered well to the die-hard alien fans! A true crowd pleaser! Standout performers by a sweet and later majorly badass Maria Von Trapp (Brianne Sanborn), a hilari... full review

This show is AMAZING! I had heard how good it was from last year's Fringe, and the Awards they received speak for themselves. This show is so wonderfully pieced together that it had me laughing out loud while also secretly fearing that an Alien was going to come after me next. The creature work is astounding, and the show is a true masterpiece! I thought about doing individual shout-outs to performers, but they were all so adaptive and talented that I couldn't pick one or two! As a group, they provided an experience that left me, a fellow actor, wanting to jump into costume and join in the fun. Well done all around to a show that is clearly going places!... full review
