Congratulations on a wonderful show! Very funny and very smart. It is a rarity to have both of these in one show. 7TH ANNUAL had them both in spades. The audience thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Huge laughs from everyone in the house. The cast was excellent. If you have a chance to see this one, please do. You won't be disappointed. ... full review

This is a must-see! This brilliantly written comedy is supported by flawless and energetic performances. The cast is an incredibly tight ensemble. If you only see one Fringe show this season, see this one.... full review

This is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen on stage - not just in Fringe, ANYWHERE! I would have to call this "inspired hilarity" - poking ruthless fun at solo-performance but at the SAME time acknowledging the passion, the creativity and the fun of it! As a solo-performer myself, there were many laughs of recognition - but, honestly, there was no way I could not laugh given the sharp and brilliant writing and perfectly timed comedic performances on that stage. CHEERS to the cast and crew for this masterful comedic romp!... full review

Jim Hanna's sharply satirical script reveals the dreams and desires of the four regional One-Man Show Finalists as they compete for the coveted title of One-Man Show Champion in Omaha. See my complete review at "original article."... full review

This is definitely my favorite Fringe show by far. There are three reasons to see this show: 1. Non-stop laughter. Seriously. You will be highly entertained. Actually I think the only downside is I may have missed a few moments because the audience was laughing so hard. 2. If you've ever sat through a tedious, self-indulgent one-man show, you will absolutely relate to this. Except it's not tedious or self-indulgent. The 7th Annual One-Man Show World Championships is an excellent parody of every stereotype of artists who choose to perform one-man shows, from the misunderstood actor overcoming his addiction to the misunderstood actor overcoming his horrible relationship with his parents to the misunderstood actor who can't seem to mainta... full review

Jim Hanna's spirited take-down of solo shows is the perfect antidote to any Fringe binge of this notoriously self-absorbed genre. In 7th Annual, four regional finalists must compete to be named the best in the "tourney of the journeys." The show highlights all the earmarks of a bad solo show and makes them requirements for entering the competition: Shows face disqualification if they do not contain a spiritual and geographical journey and struggles with sex, amongst other increasingly specific and amusing cliches that I will not spoil here. The show opens with a bang... Please read the rest of the review at Cinesnatch... full review

Funny, clever, and thoroughly entertaining. If you've ever had to sit through a painful one-man show, you'll enjoy this delightful skewering of the form. Stand out performances by the cast. Loved it!... full review

The 7th Annual One-Man Show World Championships is a zingy, pithy send-up of what can be the most self-absorbed art form of all time. The performers are all rock solid and hilarious. Darin Toonder as Trent "The Soul Mirror" Isaacs kills it. Jim Hanna drolly underplays Gary Tweeden in delightful counterpoint. Can't wait to see what these mightily talented folks come up with next.... full review
