My overall impression
What a hit!! Oy my sides!! WOMEN is a true delight and I highly doubt anyone will leave the theater without being blown away by the comedic forces of the actors and the reckless wit of the writer. Some jokes are dangerously funny and if you have any reference to LITTLE women or HBO’s GIRLS then you will be rolling down the aisles of the Asylum, gasping like you’re dying of consumption. I would even venture to say that WOMEN is even more successful, as a piece of live comedic theater, than the TV show GIRLS is as a half-hour comedy. Totally flawless.
Everybody was perfectly cast and side-splittingly hilarious, but I’d like to give a special shout out to the actor who played Beth. She KILLED me! A special thanks to the producer/actor Brad Anderson for bringing this play all the way from NYC!
