My overall impression
A moody, fractured relationship piece anchored by Fiona Lakeland’s luminous stage presence, “Can’t Take My (Eyes) Off Of You” is more a series of impressions than a linear story. The technical elements in the transitions are deftly handled and lend a lovely, haunting quality to the play. The transitions inform the action rather than distract from it. A softly impressionistic sweep of a play punctuated and guided by Lakeland’s performance.
