My overall impression
I hate the Yankees. As a matter of fact, there are few things in life that I hate more than the New York Yankees. The Tampa Bay Rays come to mind, but that’s besides the point. I’m a die-hard Red Sox Fan, so anything about the Yankees automatically makes me cringe. Well, this play is set outside Yankee Stadium, and not only did I really like this play, I want to produce it myself one day. A great, engaging story that delves into the reasons why we love the game itself; something we can all relate to regardless of who we root for. I am disappointed this group is only mounting the first half of the show at the festival this year. I hope I’ll get to see or read Act II soon.
