About the Project
As a junior college dropout with his life in turmoil, Patrick O’Sullivan paid $1 at a discount movie theater to see a then box office bust known as “The Shawshank Redemption.” Little did he know that those 142 minutes would change his life forever. In his second one man show, Patrick tells the story of how he, a man who never went to prison, found parallels in the film with his own life and with one of the most non-talked about issues in society today. A discovery that led to his own escape and redemption.
