I've been craving increasing levels of absurdism in my life and in the art I engage with for a while, and this scratched that itch like nothing else. MaMa is committed in stage presence and in playing with chance when building the show for an individual viewing. I'm curious what other paths of this show exist that we didn't get to see that night!... full review

There is something so profound sitting in a theater with strangers and being open to the unexpected which is why I love theater the most. Because it is a collective experience. Mama Does Dada heightened this for me brilliantly - I loved how, we the audience were even more connected through this artist's brave exploration of the absurd. Even though I didn't understand everything, I didn't need to - Jerilyn's integrity to the work and her absolute commitment was EVERYTHING for me. I will remember her artistry in this wonderfully absurd piece forever. ... full review

Jerilyn Paige is a powerful performance artist. We are all hardwired to be consistently fed structure, meaning and purpose - that is indeed the world we live in. That's also going against everything that this show has to offer. ***Please note that because of this show's structure, or lack thereof, "Mama Does Dada" will most likely be different every night of its run.... full review

" THE ADMIRAL HAS FOUND NOTHING..." A deeply evocative and emotional experience told in the hushed whispers and clamorous wails in the dead tongues of a world abruptly gone silent. An experience that is deeply expressive and symbolically abundant despite being abstract and absurd. Something that is genuinely and sincerely felt if not completely understood.... full review
