My overall impression

RM’s gift has always been to take a simple idea, infuse it with child-like wonder, and then take you on a journey where you constantly think “how did I have so much fun on something so silly?”. Hoop might well be the apex of their work. RM was spellbinding and engaging but in a soft and friendly way. The middle-aged version of me loved it but the 10 year old version would have too.
