With most clown shows, the audience isn’t sure what level of participation is expected from the performer, but RM does a great job of slowly easing you into their world and inviting you to play with them. They’re able to go with the flow if they don’t receive any feedback and aren’t afraid to break character a little bit, which is great for making the audience feel a little more comfortable with playing along.... full review

This was such a beautiful show that every person should make room in their schedule to see. RM is impressively present the entire time. I was stunned to learn that most of the show is improvised based on what the audience gives them. That rules. RM is a community leader, and you can see the years of training they have put into a really beautiful story. Getting emotionally moved from a clown show? Yup. I'd go back.... full review

Hoop is a simple idea. It’s part clown, part mentalism, and relies heavily on audience interactions. I’m still trying to figure out what the show was about, what hole was meant to be filled and if she’d gotten the audience interactions she wanted, how would it have been different? The audience participation parts did not go the way she wanted in the performance I saw and there didn’t seem to be a plan for how to continue the show with an audience that didn’t react the way she wanted. It felt a lot like she was waiting for us to tell her how to do the show. Or to tell her what it was about. ... full review
