Shahin Sayadi flicks effortlessly between characters in retelling classic Iranian folktales, and the minimal props work in so many ways and are so carefully planned. The minimalism really lets Shahin’s storytelling and characterizations shine!

This is a wonderful whimsical, but intense piece. Shahin Sayadi has carefully woven folktale into a deep and personal piece in this mesmerizing retelling of classic Iranian folktales.
