I was transported to a different time and place. Shahin is quite the storyteller. This was a fable of good versus evil, young versus old, love versus hate. It was grounded in tradition and helped me recall my own roots in religious fables. It left me with lots to think about. ... full review

This show was one of my favorites out of the 40+ shows I attended at Hollywood Fringe. Weeks later I still think about it. For one hour, I was completely transported to another place and time through Sayadi’s brilliant writing, storytelling and acting. His full self stayed connected to each word and moment throughout the performance. I hope he performs this beyond Fringe so I can see it again! ... full review

It also speaks to the importance of listening to new voices and recognizing that times are changing. Shahin's ability to address these contemporary issues through... full review

Shahin Sayadi beautifully presented folk tale kept us on the edge of our seats, a thinly veiled nod to the troubles in his native Iran. Through dance, myth and well-crafted character work, Shahin gives us an unrequited love poem to his country and its unrest. A simply beautiful hour of theatre.... full review
