I wasn't sure what to expect, but I knew there'd be singing and disco. What I didn't expect was a much deeper message to the audience, the message that we need each other. Liza has such electric stage presence and connects with every audience member. She has experienced so much grief, speaks openly about, and triumphs over it with music and connection. Liza is a beautiful performer, storyteller, and OOOO that voice! Liza's ability to make the audience feel better than they were at the start of the show is just a testament to who she is as a person. I think Disco Therapy should be a weekly occurrence, year round of course. ... full review

Wonderful show! Highly recommended. I’ve seen Liza perform a few different shows and she is an absolute superstar as a performer. She takes over the stage. When the show started I saw that it was interactive and audience members were taking over the mic and singing. My stomach dropped, please don’t put me on the spot. And by the end of the show there I was on stage with the mic enjoying the whole event. That is why the show is truly interactive and actually lives up to its name by being therapeutic. Run! Go see this show. A true Fringe experience.... full review

Liza Dealey-Thomason is a gift, and she is ready to take you out of your darkness. Dealey-Thomason might not be a licensed therapist, but she's certainly an alchemist, turning her pain and a profound darkness into utter sheer joy that she does not keep to herself, but shares with her audience in this karaoke blast of a show, where not only did I leave feeling human and seen, I've left wanting to hug the next person I saw on the street. This is the infectious nature of this show, and you're not going to want to miss it. ... full review

Holy smokes! Liza was on fire this entire show! The singing, the dancing, the insights, the audience interactions - is there anything she can't do? I saw this show at 11pm and it woke me up - both literally and figuratively! Dancing through the hard parts of life is a lesson that everyone needs to hear, and Liza is the perfect ambassador to spread that message far and wide! Disco Therapy is truly a gift. ... full review
