About the Project
Mary, a widow and mother, presents three self-contained plays with magical stories of life and love about her husband and son from beyond death. Part I looks at the relationship between frozen grief and depression and tells the story of Mary marrying against all odds and communicating with her atheist husband John Guillermin, ‘70s film director, after death. Part II tells the story of Michael, the young man of 35 Mary adopted who died suddenly two years later and his continued existence after death. Part III unravels a 3,000 year old past life story of a matriarchal queen and her son and their relationship to the present day lives of Mary and Michael. The full trilogy presents a rich tapestry of events. All stories are 100% true to Mary’s experience of a magical life.
