Ahhh....the solo show journey...How to write a solo show? What do you say? What questions do you ask? Do you join a solo show class? Please the teacher with witty answers to his questions? Do you just say f-it, I'm going to go to Peru and let the ayahuaysca do the writing for me? Maybe I'll be original with how I break the fourth wall and talk to the audience. Perhaps I'll find my show in their expressions and reactions? Should I sing? Yes! ALL OF THE ABOVE! Stefan Marks brilliantly weaves a solo show within a solo show. Powerful, engaging, funny, sad, pathetic at times, joyful at others, Marks is electric and such a master in his storytelling. Gut punch at the end even if you suspect it's coming.
