A beautiful, grounded show about a woman processing her mother's death. Rachel's writing and performance was grounded, candid, and gutwrenching. The audience was pulled in from the start and there was not a dry eye in the house by the final blackout. ...

Such a heartfelt and hilarious show. As someone who also lost his mother, I can 100% relate to the "worst day of your life" scenario and the desire to go back and "do over" your final day with your mother. Rachel Austin nails it. It's as if she went into my mind and put it on stage. It was a pleasantly cathartic story, and she gave a dynamite performance....

Rachel Austin is on fire, and it's the kind of show that will make you call a loved one right after. It just so happens the music is also catchy as hell. Stunning on all counts. ...

I was a wreck (in a good way$m) at the show’s conclusion. We had the incredible opportunity to witness what I believe was true healing onstage. So happy I got to see it!...

“It’s been five years and I still don’t have a life”: with an unapologetic sense of self and fearless ownership of her small quirks and big feelings, Rachel proves she is a force to be reckoned with in “The Do Over.” She tells the audience she’s “good at theater,” but as the show goes on and she belts out a gorgeously sung original song and surrenders skillfully to a FANTASTIC emotional journey, that proves to be an understatement....
