The dream team of Brandon and Drew are back this year better than I've ever seen them before. I was lucky enough to enjoy the first iteration of this show years ago, and it has always been one of my favorite shows because of interesting and funny this concept is. It's the perfect commentary on politics without feeling like it gets into some of the most dreadful of today's politics - and does so with so much heart and humor that Drew and Brandon could take the audience anywhere in this show and we'd still love it. On my first visit to the festival two years ago, I saw the original, shorter version of ‘Vote for Tom Ryan’ and it was my favorite part of the festival. I had to come back this year for the full play and it did not disappoint.... full review

Drew Petriello knows how to write a comedy!! One moment you're wrapped up in the genuine stakes of the election and the next, a character says something idiotic and reminds you where the show actually takes place. This writing cleverly poked fun at corruption in politics without feeling bleak or heavy-handed. Thomas Hollow came off as a naive, arrogant, yet likable presidential hopeful, which is quite hard to pull off! Reid Emmons was a comedic superstar in this play. I was cracking up anytime he was onstage doing his silly accent.... full review

It's taken me a long time to write this review, but that's actually because I found the show deeply affecting to me. I was not expecting to. But I had just been to my own college reunion and there was something about the "Our Town" esque third act of looking back and realizing that you and everyone you know turned out to be kind of lame that deeply touched me. ... full review
