If you play a tabletop role playing game (TTRPG), you have been at this table. The campaign has a successful ending, but then the real-world creeps in. When friendship bonds are tested, the group tries its best to keep the room convivial, with mixed results. This is a great slice of life play from a life more and more of us are becoming familiar with. An excellent Fringe debut effort from Stray Rat Media... full review

Solid portrayal of a fantasy gaming friend group both in game and around the table. Trey has written an engaging and thought-provoking script, well played by his cast. Fun to see the double layers of character and player interactions as they navigate the adventure and the dumpster fire of our current political environment.... full review

I really enjoyed this show and highly recommend seeing it. It was fun, thought-provoking, and really well-acted. It offers an important examination of how political ideology can divide us, even when we share common ground on the values and principles that matter most.... full review

Great work! The acting was fantastic and I am impressed by the writing. It can be challenging to make political topics sound conversational in theatre and not too much like you're hitting people over the head with the message. However this writing balances that so well. I felt like I was observing a fun and private moment in time with friends. It felt natural. And I think the overall direction, pacing, and momentum of the actors made it work so well! ... full review

A Role Playing Game begins where most adventures end. Set around a tabletop role-playing game, this thoughtful political drama explores friendship, democracy, and the importance of staying connected together even when we disagree. This smartly written show is a critical success. ... full review

A Dungeons and Dragons group gets fractured in real life when unresolved political arguments resurface due to activities in the gaming session. There is a dual play here, one with a group of friends gaming and another with debating left vs center left politics.... full review

Didn’t expect the story to be what it was but I loved the unexpected! Had humor as well as food for thought, which is I think what makes great art. Really enjoyed this. Actors were great too and really nailed their characters. Great dialogues. Loved it!... full review
