Ashley Diaz grounds this beautiful piece with humor and honesty, encompassing it with a captivating stage presence that you can’t look away from. The no-dialogue moments leading up to the final scene was haunting, vulnerable, and ultimately very touching.
What I didn't like
I could totally see this as an hour-long show, give us more!
My overall impression
What does it mean to be a "perfect " woman? Ashley Diaz takes us on their journey of discovering one’s self in the face of a harsh, unfair reality that can refuse to accept that. Bold, funny, and very poignant, “Being The Perfect Woman” is a very special short piece this Fringe not to be missed.
