A one woman show about a two person play in 2025’s Fringe Festival… Laurel Kathleen, a comedian and actor in Los Angeles, recounts her experience performing and working backstage for “The Visitor”. Being in her very first play at 38 years old while going through a divorce was a surreal experience. “The Visitor” is an immersive horror play about a real estate agent (Rachel Hip-Flores) who attempts to sell a mysteriously unsellable house, before realizing she might be the reason the house is unsellable. Written by James Ferrero and produced by Megan Rose Ruble, Laurel Kathleen performed as a silent, still apparition opposite Rachael Hip-Flores’ real estate agent, as well as doing all of the backstage horror illusions. Re-Visitor explores the stillness onstage and chaos backstage and how that mirrors real life.
