I thoroughly enjoyed Amazing Graves. Being billed as "One Cemetery - Two Plots" was a great concept. Both stories were very original and wonderfully acted. I was more drawn to Our Cemetery for the simple fact that all 5 actors were within my same age group. A small town cemetery is the perfect canvas for these two plays. Though the plays are very different, their themes are similar....those of life, death, regrets and hopefulness. And also the more devastating effects of mental health, racism and addiction. Can you recreate your past and heal the wounds that have plagued your life for years, even decades? I was intrigued by the idea of having two shows set in a graveyard. Would they be scary? Funny? Poignant? How would the plays relate to each other? Would there be ghosts? Nothing was scary, there were some funny moments and a few poignant ones as well. ... full review
