I was very much interested in everything about this play regarding the life of the role that the actor performed all relating to where he grew up and how his life experience had been for him....

6 out of 10 was amazing. It took me on an emotional roller-coaster. I laughed, I cried, I even hit a little dance. McKinnon ability to switch characters was amazing. I walked away feeling empowered. Definitely a 10 out of 10 performance....

McKinnon Powell is a compelling performer who dips deep into his well, amid a whirlwind of dark family chaos. Loaded with dark humor, and hair-raising stories from his journeys from Savannah to Los Angeles, "6 out of 10" is fueled by carefully etched, vivid characters and an uplifting and redemptive ending. This solo show, beautifully directed by Jessica Lynn Johnson, far exceeds the score of its title....

I loved McKinnon's show. He told his story with such vulnerable honesty. The choreographed sex scenes and frequent newscasts reporting on the 2016 election were startlingly original....

Terrific storytelling and adept handling of difficult subject matter. McKinnon's swift transitions, super funny moments and character work brought levity and humor and even teh playing field against the dark, scary and traumatic events both personal and universally felt. Highly recommend! ...

The show was fantastic! The themes of self-esteem, self-acceptance as well as acceptance by others and also dealing with family issues, were handled in a very relatable manner. McKinnon does a fantastic job of keeping a fast moving pace while presenting the various characters that the main actor is dealing with. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the play....

This is a phenomenal and touching story about figuring out who you are while dealing with the world around you and reconciling your childhood to make that happen. You will laugh and cry and also see how your own life has impacted your self views to create limiting beliefs and how you must fight against it to become the person you’re meant to be....
