I have rarely seen accurate representations and nuances of OCD, and this nailed it! From the way it evolves throughout your life and manifests in different ways, to how it affects interpersonal relationships, to misdiagnosing, truly a special show!...

A beautiful performance by Evelyn Rumsby, who shares a very brave story about managing GAD/OCD while trying to survive collage, dating and, well, life. This is a well-crafted, eye-opening solo performance, much of which I identified with. Add to this some very charming, original music, and you have a real winner. I'm grateful I got to catch this show....

Rosie’s Brain is a tender and heartfelt musical exploration of navigating life and relationships with mental illness. Evelyn’s voice soars with moving original music that channels a folky pop style reminiscent of Sara Bareilles. The story is funny, real, heartfelt, and leaves you with a little bit of restored faith in humanity....

One of my favorite shows so far this fringe.
Many funny lines that made me laugh out loud.
Good characterization of other characters as Rosie switch's from one to the other....

This incredibly personal story really hit home for me as someone who also deals with anxiety and OCD. Evelyn's performance captured so much of what it's like to live with that kind of disorder and she presented it with fantastic humor and beautiful music. If you or someone you love has OCD, this is a must-see! And even if you don't know anyone with OCD, you'll still enjoy this show!...

I was blown away by this show! The title character, Rosie, opens the show by bounding onto the stage with an adorable backpack and the energy of Dora the Explorer, but make no mistake, there is nothing frivolous or kiddie about this production. Evelyn Rose has written a smart and highly entertaining ode to OCD and regales us with songs and story that weave so seamlessly together you forget you're watching a musical. The acting, music, singing and character work are all superb! It's clear this piece has been expertly crafted - the story moved beautifully and I was captivated throughout. I left feeling teary eyed and more empathetic towards those in my life struggling with the challenges of anxiety and OCD. ...
