This show is a marvelous bit of parody with real love for the noir films and theatre it's co-opting. The chemistry between the well-practiced cast members was sizzling, and the dialogue was witty and trope-y as the noir theatre it lampoons. A fantastic hour of theatre!...

JUST SEE IT
A must, must, MUST see. Gorgeous to watch. Incredible writing and directing and talk about a fantastic cast! Jeffrey Johnson draws us in before the story officially begins (and our attention is captivated to the very end); and away we go on a magical journey. The film noir setting is so delicious with every twist and turn. Ha! Ann Noble, Robin McDonald, and Christian Haines are beyond wonderful!
Do yourself a favor, will ya: Just go see it! ...

Extraordinary: hilarious
Extraordinary! Brilliant! Both in the conception and in the presentation. Extremely humorous, ah the hell with it, it's hilarious and at the same time tremendously moving. It's deep. It's tragic. And it's slapstick. It reminds us that what we think is real is at the core metaphor. That doesn't mean we can't laugh and cry....

I was caught up immediately, from the bare bulb lighting, to the clack clacking of a typewriter. Wasn't sure where it was going and in one swift yet nuanced pivot, I saw it all, and it all made sense.
Smart. Funny. Poignant.
I had laugh out loud laughs, and tugs at my heartstrings.
"Dead Man" is great. Highly recommend. ...
