If we don't see this actress on the silver screen soon, I'd be surprised. ... full review

What a hilarious show!! For the record- I am not a country music fan. However, Reba's country anthem about a woman teaching her daughter how to survive in a "man's" world is not unknown to me. With that said- I probably wouldn't have chosen this show to be among my "I have got to see" shows at Fringe this year. However, my wife is a fan and this show went right on her radar. For once she was right (hope she doesn't see this) Chris Farah brings Fancy to life as her one woman show laughs us through the trial and tribulations of the young heroin. From infancy to full fledged hookerdom- Fancy is a force to be reckoned with. Told with fast wit, song, and with multiple characters, you witness hilarious moments that are almost too much to bea... full review

Bold, brazen, beautiful and funny to boot! Chris Farrah turns in a hilariously clever performance in this one-woman show depicting the life & trials of "Fancy" - a poor girl turned prostitute - based on the song "Fancy" as made famous by Reba McEntire. Using very little in the way of set/props, Farrah captivates the audience with her powerful voice, funny facial expressions and witty dialogue. The cast of characters she portrays ranges from dying woman to naive teenager to brothel madam and church-going lady. I was thankful for the added costume pieces used to help differentiate between characters as there wasn't much of a vocal change to distinguish them from one another. Even still, "FANCY" was a wildly fun tale that had us all la... full review

This was such a fun show. I'm glad I was able to catch it at Fringe. In her first Fringe show Chris Farah effortlessly takes on multiple characters. Her one woman show will keep you laughing for the full show. I can't wait to see where this piece goes as she develops the character of Fancy even more!... full review

Ms. Farah is riveting and could have carried a show twice as long. She's adorable. And Funny. I saw actual knee slapping in the audience. Loved it. So glad I went!... full review

Fancy is a dream come true - an honest to goodness example of how the right motives can make even the worst circumstances change for the better. Chris Farah is simply amazing. She made you believe in Fancy, with her perfect comedic timing, her eye-popping cleavage, and her sassy wit. This is a fun show about a character created by Bobbie Gentry and made famous by Reba McIntyre. It simply must be experienced.... full review

Besides being a great comedienne and singer, Chris Farah. Knows how to own a f*ckin' room. It's a character solo show that deconstructs character solo shows. Really truly enjoyed it, and laughed throughout.... full review

As Fancy Jean Baker, Chris Farah is the epitome of beauty, wit, and sass. At the sold-out closing show last night, Farah expertly worked the raucous crowd with polished comedic timing and even acknowledged the intrusive sounds of a rock band rehearsing next door without missing a beat (no pun intended). But what appealed to me most about Fancy was the childlike innocence with which she approached the sometimes coldhearted world. Her sweetness could melt any heart. Fancy, you did NOT let me down.... full review
