As a professional comics creator of thirty years who already knew the story from people who worked with Stan, I loved every minute of this show. It’s good for people to know how important Jack is to our culture. If the team wants a second part to this series, I would gladly help them find financing for a play about Bill Finger and Bob Kane, and the origins of Batman. ... full review

This is an extremely polished show that deserves a run beyond the Fringe. This is an excellently written and directed voice-y character piece with really fantastic performances. This is one of my favorite pieces this Fringe. Definitely a must see!... full review

A riveting, funny, and well-researched look at Lee & Kirby’s relationship. Just an incredible show, and a labor of genuine love and respect for everyone’s part in the story. Fast-paced and vibrant, the show takes its cues (and its punches) from actual text and reference, heightening the gravitas of every on-stage conversation.... full review

This is a nuanced and complex look at the men who created some of the most recognizable characters in modern times. It deals with the interactions of art and commerce as well as the drawbacks to letting people create the legends of thier own lives.... full review

This is a great little play and feels like it was personally built for me. As someone who worked in the comics industry for 22 years and has been a life-long fan, this is a story I am familiar with. What Joshua does well is distill it down to its essence and share with you both the legends and the truth about what really happened. It's well directed, traversing a long period of time with brief moments of fourth-wall breaking that feels natural. Fringe should be either be a place to experiment or bring your A-game. This play does both - it takes some experimental risks in the way it presents the info and the cast and crew really bring their A-game.... full review
