Freshness, creativity and novelty. What I liked in this play is that it doesn't pretend to be what it is not. It shows real characters and encourage the creation. I liked that through comedy they were able to bring up so many different subjects, on so many levels. The place of women in the show business industry, the sensibility of actors, their metaphysical questioning about themselves and their existence, the extravaganza and their oversized ego, their incapacity to differentiate their personal life and their professional life, etc. The actors are efficient and all have a strong personality. I went to this show expecting to see a similar story to [title of show], without the musical undertone. Unfortunately, it was a train wreck. And like every good train wreck, you just can't seem to pull yourself away from watching. The show had some good moments and some good physical comedy, but the show looks like it was thrown up at the last minute. It has potential, but I think they need to head back to the drawing board and give it a good rehash. ... full review

I knew exactly what to expect going into this play, and the team served it up well. There wasn't much deeper thought or real intrigue; some slapstick went well and some went on too long. It didn't add up to much. Not that everything must. UNTITLED is mostly entertaining, and seems to serve as a useful stress relief for artists who just opened their Fringe show.... full review
